Oxnard High School’s Mole Day

Mole Day is always celebrated on October 23.

On October 23, 2014, Oxnard High School students celebrate the chemistry-related number. Mole Day appraises Avogadro’s Number (6.02 x 1023), a basic measuring unit in chemistry. OHS students from the majority of science classes enjoyed the anniversary  by in-class festivities, goody bags, balloon animals, and of course, student-crafted moles.
