Have you ever wondered what it is like to live through a different era? The 1960s was an interesting time period and an era full of controversy. Many occurrences have happened during the sixties that made this era extraordinary. Occurrences such as the Vietnam War, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Space Race, riots in various University campuses are just a few of the major happenings that make this era very interesting. This era was a time where people of all ages when against traditions and where a counterculture movement began. Many people started movements and riots to support what they believed in and were against of.  More women, young adults and people of color started getting involved with widespread conflicts that were happening in the United States. If you enjoy reading about the sixties or about what happened throughout history, then you will enjoy reading The 1960s.
