Malia Vallender, intern
Malia Vallender, a junior at OHS and first-year member of The Buzz, is a well-rounded and ambitious student and reporter. She enjoys physical activities, such as running and playing tennis. Other than being involved in The Buzz, she is the editor of Key Club. Constantly seeking new opportunities, she hopes to attend UCSD during the Fall of 2018. Since freshman year she has maintained a GPA of 4.0 or higher. Making her stand out the most is her unwillingness to give up on the subjects and activities she loves the most. Vallender's favorite food is pizza and she enjoys listening to indie music. Outside of school, she loves to hangout with friends and just have a good time. Other than being an overall avid and hardworking student, Vallender donates much of her time to help lead her community in the right direction any chance she gets. After graduating from her dream dream university, she hopes to pursue the career as a medical examiner.
